Plan International UK strives to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world. Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 75 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.
Plan International UK’s Major Partnerships Unit will generate £7 million income this year from companies, trusts and major donors. It is a fast-paced environment with ambitious plans for the future. As a Programme Management Specialist within the unit, you will have the opportunity to help shape a portfolio of projects, funded by major partners, ensuring the best possible impact for children globally.
You will personally project manage the development of compelling, high quality donor concept notes, proposals and budgets. You will also manage the project cycle for a portfolio of Major Partnership Unit funded projects, ensuring that projects are aligned with UK and Country Office strategy and standards, that project learning is shared and most importantly, that projects are implemented according to agreed objectives and donor contracts.
You will have experience of developing high value (£250k +), complex proposals (including M&E frameworks) and donor budgets, ideally for Corporate, Individual Major Donor or Trust/Foundation audiences. You will also have experience of managing a project grant portfolio, supporting country offices to deliver against objectives throughout the project cycle.
Above all, you will be a passionate advocate for Plan International UK and be able to build excellent relationships at all levels of the organisation.
