Plan International UK strives to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world. Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 75 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

Our Major Partnerships Unit will generate £7 million income this year from companies, trusts and major donors. It is a fast-paced environment with ambitious plans for the future. You will personally project manage the development of compelling, high quality donor concept notes, proposals and budgets. You will have experience of developing high value (£250k +), complex proposals (including M&E frameworks) and donor budgets, ideally for Corporate, Individual Major Donor or Trust/Foundation audiences. You will also have experience of managing a project grant portfolio, supporting country offices to deliver against objectives throughout the project cycle.

Above all, you will be a passionate advocate for Plan International UK and be able to build excellent relationships at all levels of the organisation.

The deadline for applications is 9:00am on Monday 16 April 2018

First interviews will take place on Tuesday 24 April, with second round interviews taking place on Friday 27 April 2018

Due to the nature of our work with children, we follow rigorous child protection policies and procedures in our recruitment process. As a result, some of our roles are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from joining us as an employee or volunteer; this will depend on the circumstances of any offences.
