Country: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Closing date: 06 Jul 2015
The post is GEC M&E Officer and you will be in the Programmedepartment, supporting a new programme under the DFID Girl’s Education Challenge (GEC) funding stream being implemented through Plan Sierra Leone.
You will have experience of establishing and maintaining M&E systems for projects in which donor reporting and repayment is contingent upon demonstrating programmatic evidence on outcomes. The programme is not Payment by Results as some of Plan’s programmes are, however it is Payment by Milestones necessitating effective and tight M&E systems from start to finish.
The post holder will be the main M&E point of contact for the new project at Plan UK and will need to work closely with peers in Sierra Leone to effectively support the establishment and maintenance of systems that will track progress to outcomes over a tight timeframe – approximately 18 months.
You will have sound experience of monitoring, evaluation and learning on international development or social projects and be able to build capacity of colleagues in this area.
This post is contingent upon confirmation of funding from the donor, DFID.
This will be a part-time post at 17.5 hours a week. It will be a fixed term contract for 18-20 months. The post will be based at the Plan UK office in Old Street, London.
The usual recruitment rate for this post (Grade 3) is £35,929 pro rata with future pay progression within the pay band from £35,929 to £38,765 pro rata.
We would like all applications by 6th July 2015.
