United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland: Monitoring and Evaluation Intern

The Programmes Department supports Plan’s global programme, amongst others, by providing technical programme support to all Plan UK departments and monitoring Plan UK’s programme portfolio and sharing learning, including representing Plan’s programmes work to a range of audiences to promote awareness of Plan’s mission.

As this position will sit in the Quality Assurance, Impact and Learning (QAIL) Unit, the successful candidate will need to have the following interest and experience:

• Knowledge and interest in gaining experience of monitoring and evaluation for international development projects
• Interest in rights based approaches to programming and internationaldevelopment
• Strong research, data analysis and analytical skills
• Very good working knowledge of Excel and data visualisation tools (preferable)
• Strong planning and report writing skills
• Good understanding and the use of data and knowledge management systems
